Celtics lose Game 2 111-115 to the refs… I mean Heat
Rajon has the nerve to hit D-Wade’s hand with his face
The Good – Rajon Rondo had a game for the ages as he scored a career best 44 points and played an iron man 53 minutes. He wasn’t just showing off his driving skills, as a lot of his points were long 2′s or 3′s. Rondo definitely played with a chip on his shoulder that should continue into Game 3.
The Bad – The refs were again absolutely horrible to the Celtics. 3 players for the Celtics fouled out, whereas no starter for the Heat had more than 3 fouls. Some of the calls down the stretch were clearly fouls against the Heat, but the refs decided to swallow their whistles while the Heat were on defense. In overtime Rondo was clearly hit in the head on a drive by Dwayne Wade on a layup attempt, but the refs decided it was a clean hit to the head. On the other side, D-Wade kicked KG to create separation for a layup, but instead of calling an offensive foul, the refs gave KG the foul for getting kicked. The argument that the Celtics shouldn’t have gotten calls because they settled for jumpers doesn’t apply to this game as the Celtics were driving the hole the whole game.
The Encouraging – The Heat have to come to the Garden and play in an environment where they shouldn’t get all the calls. Home-court has been nice to the Celtics this post-season as they are 6-1. Pierce should also play out of his mind as he couldn’t be happy with the way this game ended for him as he was fouled out in the 4th.
The Celtics will come out strong in Game 3, I guarantee it. They know that Game 3 is a must win for them, and I know they will play with a purpose. Hopefully the refs let them.

it’s pretty sickening to watch some of the calls, or no calls these refs stuck to the celtics the past 2 games. i don’t understand how the nba can let officiating like this continue.. especially in such a huge game. they’ll lose this fan if it continues.
It is simple. The league is more worried about advertising and hype for the finals and they see the Heat as being the team that gets this done. It is sickening to watch. I am a bulls fan with no stake in this but that game by Rondo was amazing and to have the refs steal the game in OT is just horrid.
The refs in games 1 and 2 of eastern conference finals were disgusting! I’ve never seen such 1 sided officiating in my life! All the tech fouls in game one were bull! 2 kick balls werent called against the heat in big spots! Dwayne Wade recently went from one of my more liked players to impossible to watch with his disgusting flopping, for such a good player he should be ashamed!!! Im so tired of him flailing around like a fish without any contact! The refs should never ever decide a game and so far had more of an impact on the floor than any one player on both teams! David Stern should be disgusted and the refs should be fired! Finals game should be fun and fair and decided on the court, this is so bad i cant even watch!!
