The Good – If you ever wondered what a post Big 3 Celtics’ team would look like with Rondo at the helm, last night was a good example.  Pierce, KG and Ray all sat out (Ray is still nursing a sore ankle) to give them rest on a brutal 3 games on 3 days stretch.  Rondo had 20 points and 16 assists, proving that he can be elite with any cast.

The Bad – The Charlotte Bobcats have the potential to become the worst team in NBA history if they lose the next 7 games.  Their NBA winning percentage of .119 is the worst in the NBA, and proves how far this team has to go even if they do get the #1 draft pick.  Michael Jordan can be proud to be the only person associated with both the NBA’s worst team and best team (he was a player on the 1995-96 Bulls that won 72 games, and is the current owner of the Bobcats).

The Encouraging – We all knew Avery Bradley could play defense, but now he is proving himself on the offensive end.  He scored 22 points and had 2 three pointers.  If he continues to hit those 3′s he could become a perennial All-Star, and prove to be a dynamic back-court with the pass-happy Rondo.

The Celtics just got through the hardest part of the regular season schedule with a winning record, by winning 2 of 3 on this back-to-back-to-back.  They are now a half game ahead of the Hawks for home court advantage in the first round.  They play the Hawks on Friday, but with this last stretch of wins they have put themselves in good position going into the playoffs.
